Carbon steel pipes are ingeniously categorized into two distinct types: hot-rolled and cold-rolled (drawn) steel pipes, each designed to meet specific needs and applications.
The hot-rolled carbon steel pipes segment is diverse, encompassing general steel pipes, low and medium-pressure boiler steel pipes, high-pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, geological steel pipes, and a variety of other specialized steel pipes.
In addition to the versatile general, low and medium-pressure, high-pressure boiler, alloy, stainless, and petroleum cracking steel pipes, cold-rolled (pulled) carbon steel pipes also expand to include carbon thin-walled, alloy thin-walled, non-rust thin-walled, and uniquely-shaped steel pipes. Typically, hot-rolled seamless pipes boast an outer diameter exceeding 32mm and wall thickness ranging from 2.5 to 75mm. Meanwhile, cold-rolled seamless pipes excel with diameters reaching as small as 6mm and wall thickness of just 0.25mm. Thin-walled variations can achieve diameters of 5mm and wall thickness under 0.25mm. Cold rolling is renowned for delivering superior dimensional accuracy compared to hot rolling.
General Carbon Steel Pipe: Crafted from high-quality carbon steels such as 10, 20, 30, 35, 45, alongside low-alloy structural steels like 16Mn, 5MnV, and alloy steels like 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB, our seamless pipes are available in both hot-rolled and cold-rolled forms. Pipes made from low carbon steels like 10 and 20 are primarily utilized for efficient fluid transport pipelines, while medium carbon steel variants such as 45 and 40Cr are essential in manufacturing robust mechanical parts, including critical automobile and tractor components. Our carbon steel pipes are meticulously designed to guarantee strength and undergo rigorous flattening tests. Hot-rolled pipes are provided in their raw or heat-treated state, whereas cold-rolled pipes are supplied post heat-treatment for optimal performance.
