(1) Surface imperfections like scratches, pitting, and pickling can affect raw material quality.
(2) Challenges with material properties. If the material lacks sufficient hardness, polishing is tough due to poor BQ properties. Conversely, overly soft materials may create an orange peel effect during deep drawing, reducing BQ quality. Proper hardness enhances BQ traits.
(3) In deep-drawn products, minor black spots and RIDGING in highly deformed zones can harm BQ performance.

Carbon's Influence: In austenitic stainless steels, carbon is vital for austenite formation and stability, expanding its region significantly.
