Color-coated coils are ingeniously crafted from a foundation of hot-dip galvanized sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, and similar high-caliber materials. These robust foundations undergo meticulous surface pretreatment, involving chemical degreasing and sophisticated chemical conversion treatments. Subsequent to this transformative process, one or several layers of premium organic coatings are artistically applied to their surfaces, which are then perfected through a precise baking cure. This meticulous process gives birth to a product with vibrant personalities, known as color-coated coils. These coils proudly feature organic coatings in an array of hues, making them versatile and attractive solutions for various applications.

The color-coated steel strip, when rooted in hot-dip galvanized steel strip, benefits from the dual guardianship of a protective zinc layer and an additional organic coating. Classification
Hot dip galvanized substrate
The hot-dip galvanized color-coated sheet is crafted by applying an organic coating on a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. Alongside zinc's protective benefits, the organic layer adds insulation and protection, preventing rust and extending service life beyond conventional galvanized sheets. Typically, the zinc content is 180g/m2 (double-sided), with a maximum of 275g/m2 for exterior building usage.
Hot-dip Al-Zn substrate
Utilizing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (55% Al-Zn) as a new coating substrate, this material boasts aluminum and zinc content typically at 150g/m2 (double-sided). With corrosion resistance 2-5 times greater than regular hot-dip galvanized sheets, it withstands high temperatures up to 490°C without severe oxidation. Its heat and light reflection capabilities are twice that of standard galvanized steel, with reflectivity exceeding 0.75, ideal for energy-efficient building materials.
Electro-galvanized substrate
The electro-galvanized color-coated sheet is created by coating organic paint on an electro-galvanized sheet, with a zinc layer traditionally at 20/20g/m2. Due to its thin zinc layer, it's unsuitable for outdoor use like walls or roofs. However, its aesthetic appeal and outstanding processing performance make it perfect for home appliances, audio equipment, steel furniture, and interior decoration.
Polyester (PE)
Offering excellent adhesion and a wide variety of vibrant colors, PE provides remarkable formability, impressive outdoor durability, moderate chemical resistance, and an attractive cost profile.
Silicon modified polyester
