Hot-rolled carbon steel pipes encompass a wide range, including general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, and geological steel pipes, among others, to cater to diverse industrial needs.

Beyond general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy and stainless steel pipes, and petroleum cracking pipes, cold-rolled (drawn) carbon steel pipes extend to include carbon thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes, non-rust thin-walled pipes, and uniquely shaped steel pipes. Hot-rolled seamless pipes feature an outer diameter typically above 32mm, with a wall thickness ranging from 2.5-75mm. Conversely, cold-rolled seamless pipes boast an outer diameter as small as 6mm and a wall thickness down to 0.25mm. Thin-walled pipes can have an outer diameter reaching 5mm and a wall thickness less than 0.25mm. Cold rolling achieves superior dimensional accuracy compared to hot rolling.

General carbon steel pipes are crafted from top-tier materials like 10, 20, 30, 35, 45 high-quality carbon steel, 16Mn, 5MnV low-alloy structural steel, or alloys such as 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB, and others, ensuring robust performance. Seamless pipes made from low carbon steel like 10 and 20 are ideally suited for fluid transport pipelines, while those made from medium carbon steel such as 45, 40Cr serve in the manufacture of mechanical components, including stressed parts for automobiles and tractors. Typically, carbon steel pipes are rigorously tested for strength and flattening. Hot-rolled steel pipes are delivered in their original hot-rolled or heat-treated form, with cold-rolled steel pipes provided in a heat-treated state.
