Carbon steel pipes are expertly categorized into two distinct types: hot-rolled and cold-rolled (drawn) steel pipes, each offering unique advantages.

Hot-rolled carbon steel pipes encompass a diverse range, including general steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler steel pipes, high pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, geological steel pipes, among others, ensuring suitability for an array of demanding applications.

Cold-rolled (drawn) carbon steel pipes, alongside the standard offerings, extend to carbon thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes, non-rust thin-walled steel pipes, and special-shaped steel pipes. Hot-rolled seamless pipes typically boast an outer diameter exceeding 32mm and a wall thickness of 2.5-75mm, while cold-rolled seamless pipes can attain an outer diameter as small as 6mm with wall thickness as minimal as 0.25mm. Thin-walled pipes achieve an outer diameter of 5mm with wall thickness below 0.25mm. Cold rolling ensures superior dimensional precision over hot rolling.

General carbon steel pipes are crafted with high precision from top-quality materials such as 10, 20, 30, 35, 45, and other high-quality carbon steels, including 16Mn, 5MnV, and various low-alloy structural steels like 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB. Seamless pipes from low carbon steels like 10 and 20 are predominantly used for fluid transportation pipelines, while medium carbon steel seamless pipes, such as 45 and 40Cr, are ideal for manufacturing mechanical parts, including stressed components of automobiles and tractors. Ensuring strength and quality, these pipes undergo rigorous flattening tests. Hot-rolled steel pipes are delivered in either hot-rolled or heat-treated states; cold-rolled steel pipes are consistently delivered in heat-treated states.
