(2) In terms of smelting methods, carbon steel is classed as open hearth steel or converter steel, each process providing unique attributes to the finished product.
(3) The deoxidation method further refines carbon steel into boiling steel (F), killed steel (Z), semi-killed steel (b), and special killed steel (TZ), each with its distinct benefits.
(4) According to the carbon content, carbon steel is elegantly stratified into low carbon steel (WC ≤ 0.25%), medium carbon steel (WC 0.25%-0.6%), and high carbon steel (WC > 0.6%), each with its unique mechanical properties and applications.
