Products are heated in a NACL solution to boiling, then cleansed and dried to assess weight loss and corrosion levels. Be aware that Fe content in polishing materials can introduce rust spots during testing, emphasizing our rigorous standards.
3. Polishing Performance
The modern appeal of stainless steel is in its refined, glossy finish, integral to most production processes except for specialized items like water heater and dispenser linings. Our raw materials are meticulously chosen for their superb polishing capabilities. Essential performance factors include:
(1) Surface flaws in raw materials, such as scratching, pitting, and issues with pickling, can affect the end product's polish.
(2) Material properties pose challenges; insufficient hardness hinders polishing due to poor BQ properties, while overly soft materials may cause an orange peel effect during deep drawing, compromising BQ quality. Ideal hardness levels are crucial for enhanced BQ performance.
(3) In deep-drawn products, the presence of small black spots and RIDGING in highly deformed areas can negatively affect BQ performance.
