1. Weldability
Our stainless steel products are renowned for their diverse applications and varied welding capabilities. While welding performance may not be a top priority for certain tableware or cookware, it is crucial for others. Products like secondary tableware, vacuum flasks, steel piping, water heaters, and dispensers greatly benefit from the excellent weldability of our premium raw materials, ensuring durability and reliability.
2. Corrosion Resistance
Stainless steel's exceptional corrosion resistance is a hallmark of its utility, crucial for a wide range of products such as Class I and II tableware, kitchenware, water heaters, and dispensers. To meet international standards, we conduct rigorous corrosion resistance tests by heating products in a NACL solution to boiling. Post heating, the solution is removed, and products are washed, dried, and weighed to assess weight loss and corrosion levels. Note that during testing, polishing may result in rust spots due to Fe content in abrasive materials.
3. Polishing Performance
In today's market, the sleek, polished finish of stainless steel is a hallmark of quality, expected across most production lines, excluding niche items like water heater and dispenser linings. This demands superior polishing performance of our raw materials, which is influenced by several key factors:
(1) Surface imperfections present in raw materials, including scratches, pits, and pickling residues.
(2) Challenges with raw material properties arise from inadequate hardness, which hampers polishing due to poor BQ (Bending Quality) properties. Conversely, materials that are excessively soft might cause an orange peel effect during deep drawing, thereby degrading BQ quality. Achieving optimal hardness is fundamental for enhancing BQ characteristics.
(3) For deep-drawn products, the presence of small black spots and RIDGING in significantly deformed areas can adversely affect BQ performance, impacting the overall finish quality.
4. Heat Resistance
The ability of stainless steel to maintain its excellent physical and mechanical properties at high temperatures underscores its remarkable heat resistance, making it indispensable in demanding environments.
Carbon's Influence: In austenitic stainless steels, carbon significantly contributes to forming and stabilizing austenite, vastly expanding the austenite region. Its austenite-forming potential is nearly 30 times that of nickel. As an interstitial element, carbon profoundly enhances the strength of austenitic stainless steels through solid solution strengthening. Moreover, it improves stress corrosion resistance in highly concentrated chloride environments, like a 42% MgCl2 boiling solution.
