1. Weldability
The diverse applications of our stainless steel products demand varied welding capabilities. While certain types of tableware, and even some cookware brands, may not prioritize welding performance, numerous other products do. For example, secondary tableware, vacuum flasks, steel piping, water heaters, and dispensers all benefit from the superior weldability of our raw materials.
2. Corrosion Resistance
A cornerstone of stainless steel utility is its exceptional corrosion resistance. This is critical for a plethora of products, including Class I and II tableware, kitchenware, water heaters, and dispensers. For international clients, we also offer rigorous corrosion resistance assessments. Our process involves heating the products in a NACL aqueous solution to boiling, after which the solution is removed, and the products are washed, dried, and weighed to determine weight loss and corrosion levels. Note that polishing can lead to rust spots due to Fe content in abrasive cloths or sandpapers during testing.
3. Polishing Performance
In our modern era, the allure of stainless steel lies in its sleek, polished finish, a standard across most production lines except for niche items like water heater and dispenser linings. This necessitates exceptional polishing performance in our raw materials. Key determinants of this performance include:
(1) Surface imperfections in raw materials, such as scratching, pitting, and pickling.
(2) Challenges with raw material properties. Insufficient hardness complicates polishing due to subpar BQ properties, while overly soft materials can cause an orange peel effect during deep drawing, diminishing BQ quality. Optimal hardness enhances BQ characteristics.
(3) For deep-drawn products, the occurrence of small black spots and RIDGING in highly deformed areas can impair BQ performance.
4. Heat Resistance
Stainless steel's ability to retain its superb physical and mechanical attributes even under high temperatures is a testament to its heat resistance.
Carbon's Influence: In austenitic stainless steels, carbon plays a pivotal role in forming and stabilizing austenite, significantly expanding the austenite region. Its austenite-forming capability is approximately 30 times that of nickel. As an interstitial element, carbon dramatically boosts the strength of austenitic stainless steels through solid solution strengthening. Additionally, it enhances stress corrosion resistance in highly concentrated chloride environments, such as a 42% MgCl2 boiling solution.
