Surface condition: The galvanization process incorporates diverse treatment techniques, resulting in an array of surface finishes that cater to specific aesthetic and functional needs. These include ordinary spangle, fine spangle, flat spangle, no spangle, and phosphating surface. Additionally, stringent German standards define precise surface grades, ensuring consistency and quality.
The galvanized sheet boasts a striking appearance, free from imperfections that could impede its functional use, such as missing plating, holes, cracks, or any form of scum. Over-plating thickness, unsightly scratches, chromic acid dirt, and white rust are meticulously avoided. While foreign standards may not explicitly define appearance defects, it is advisable to detail any specific imperfection concerns in the order contract.
According to production and processing methodologies, it is categorized into the following distinguished classes:
1. Hot dip galvanized steel sheet. This involves immersing sheet steel in a molten zinc bath, resulting in a seamless zinc layer on its surface. Currently, the continuous galvanizing process is predominantly utilized, where rolled steel plate is submerged in a zinc-melted plating tank to produce galvanized steel plates;
2. Alloyed galvanized steel sheet. Crafted via the hot-dip method, this variant undergoes immediate heating to approximately 500 ºC post-tank immersion, forming a resilient zinc-iron alloy film. This sheet offers superior paint adhesion and weldability;
3. Electro-galvanized steel sheet. Produced through an advanced electroplating technique, this sheet assures excellent workability. Although the coating is relatively thin, it provides commendable corrosion resistance, albeit not as robust as the hot-dip galvanized alternative;
4. Single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized steel. The single-sided variant boasts zinc coating on only one side, offering enhanced adaptability for welding, painting, and anti-rust treatments compared to its double-sided counterpart. To address the exposed side issue, a thin zinc layer can be applied to the opposite side, creating a double-sided differential galvanized sheet;
5. Alloy and composite galvanized steel sheet. Constructed from a synergy of zinc and other metals like aluminum, lead, and zinc, these plates form alloys or composite coated steel sheets. This innovation delivers outstanding anti-rust capabilities coupled with impeccable coating performance;

Kaishuo Weiye Steel prefers 30%TT before inspection and the rest 70% against BL. However, our price term is negotiable. Multiple payment terms are available from us.
