The hot-rolled seamless pipes boast an outer diameter typically exceeding 32mm with wall thickness ranging from 2.5 to 75mm. Meanwhile, cold-rolled seamless pipes can achieve an outer diameter as fine as 6mm and wall thickness down to 0.25mm, with thin-walled pipes reaching an outer diameter of 5mm and wall thickness under 0.25mm. Cold rolling ensures superior dimensional precision over hot rolling.

The general carbon steel pipe is expertly crafted from high-quality carbon steels such as 10, 20, 30, 35, 45, and includes low-alloy structural steels like 16Mn, 5MnV, as well as alloy steels such as 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, and 40MnB. Seamless pipes made from low carbon steels like 10 and 20 are predominantly utilized for fluid transportation pipelines. Medium carbon steel seamless pipes, including 45 and 40Cr grades, find their purpose in manufacturing mechanical parts, notably in automotive and tractor stressed components. Carbon steel pipes are chosen for their ability to guarantee strength and pass flattening tests. Hot-rolled pipes are delivered in either a hot-rolled or heat-treated state, while cold-rolled pipes are provided in a heat-treated state.
