Galvanized Steel Coil
1. Principle of galvanizing
Galvanizing is to immerse steel coils in a hot solution containing zinc salts to coat the surface of the steel coils with a layer of zinc to achieve rust prevention, aesthetics and enhanced mechanical strength. Steel coils are called galvanized steel coils after being galvanized, and can be used in construction, automobiles, electrical appliances, furniture and other fields.
2. Steel coil preparation
Coil preparation is the first step in the galvanizing line process. Before galvanizing, the surface of the steel coil needs to be polished, smoothed and cleaned so that a uniform zinc layer can be applied. This step also requires defect detection on the steel coil to ensure product quality.
3. Pickling and rust removal

4. Preprocessing
Before galvanizing, the surface of the steel coil needs to be pre-treated to apply a uniform zinc layer. Pretreatment involves soaking in a cleaning solution for cleaning and applying a practical treatment to the surface to facilitate adhesion of the zinc layer.
5. Drying and sanding
After pretreatment, drying is required to remove moisture from the surface of the steel coil. At the same time, sanding also smoothes the surface so that an even layer of galvanizing can be applied.
6. Galvanizing
When galvanizing, the steel coil is immersed in a hot solution containing zinc salts. After galvanizing is completed, the steel coil is pulled out of the solution and allowed to dry naturally in the air to form a uniform zinc layer.
7. Cooling
The galvanized coil is cooled to make the bond between the coating and the steel plate stronger.
